Two things to keep in mind. First, the panel should arrive intact. A box whose panel is already scratched before you open it has been handled by someone else, and the code will most likely come back as already queried. Second, scratch gently. A coin edge works; a key tends to gouge and can make a digit unreadable. If a digit does not read clearly, photograph it before you try again.

What Each Result Means

Valid

The code exists and has been checked at least once before. Context decides what this means. If you checked it yourself five minutes ago and are checking again, this is expected and nothing is wrong. The code does not match anything in the manufacturer's system. First rule out a typo: re-read the code and try once more, paying attention to the zero/O and one/I pairs. If it still fails, treat it as a failed check and follow the steps in the section on what to send us below. Do not keep re-entering it; one careful retry is enough.

Packaging and Device Checks

The code is the decisive test. Packaging cues are supporting evidence, useful for spotting a problem before you scratch. Here is what to look at on a RAZ box.

Model names that exist

RAZ currently makes five device platforms plus replacement pods. The names on the box should match one of these exactly: TN9000, LTX 25K or DC25000 (the same device sold under two names), RYL Classic 35K, RX 50K, VUE 50K. RAZ makes no 12K, no 30K and no other puff number. If a box says RAZ with a number that is not on this list, that alone tells you it is not a current US RAZ product. It is a simple check and it catches a lot.

Print quality

Real RAZ packaging has crisp print: sharp edges on the logo, clean small text, consistent color. Blurry text, misaligned panels, off-register color and spelling errors in the model or flavor name are all reasons to slow down and check the code before you buy or open the device. None of these is proof on its own; the code is.

Flavor names

Flavor names on the box should match the model. TN9000 flavors often carry a blend description in parentheses. LTX 25K flavors may carry a sub-series label such as Frozen, Sour, Gush, Clear or Punch Edition. RX 50K Dew Edition flavors are named as Batch flavors or Code flavors. The device itself

Current RAZ devices are draw-activated with no fire button, charge over USB-C, and, on the screened models, show battery and liquid level on a display. The TN9000 has an airflow slider on its base. The LTX 25K has a button that switches Standard and Boost. The RX 50K has a button that cycles Normal, Boost and Super Boost and locks when held. The VUE base takes a magnetic pod keyed to seat one way. A device that does not behave the way its model should is another reason to check the code. Buying From Tracked Stock

RAZ authentication starts before the purchase, because the best time to solve a fake raz vape problem is before you pay for it. • A photo of the outer box showing the model and flavor name.
• A photo of the inside flap with the scratched panel and the code readable.
• A photo of the device itself, ideally with the screen lit if the model has one.
• The exact result text the verification page showed.

Send all of it in one email rather than in pieces; it lets us review the case in a single pass. Do not throw away the box until we reply. Code Green, Code Pink: Flavor Names, Not Verification Codes

This one causes real confusion. The RAZ RX 50K Dew Edition uses two naming families for its flavors. Batch flavors include Lemon Batch, Triple Berry Batch, Watermelon Batch and White Peach Batch. Code flavors are Code Blue, Code Green, Code Pink, Code Red and Code White. The Code names are flavor names, each a color-coded Dew Edition profile. They have nothing to do with the scratch-off authentication code inside the flap.

So if you own a Code Green and you are looking for a code to verify, do not look at the flavor name. Open the flap and scratch the panel like any other RAZ box.
