RAZ VUE 50K specs
The VUE is two parts, so the sheet is split the same way. The base holds the battery, the screen and the contacts. The pod holds the liquid and the coil. Neither does anything without the other.

Two lines on that table trip people up. The first is the pod size: 13 mL is smaller than the 18 mL LTX tank or the 20 mL plus RX tank, yet the pod carries a 50,000 puff rating. That is the manufacturer's figure for the pod and we report it as given. The second is the kit contents: one pod, nothing spare. Plan on buying a replacement pod before the first one runs out if you do not want a gap.
What is in the RAZ VUE kit
Open the box and you get exactly two things: the base and one pod. The pod is already filled with the flavor you chose from the picker at the top of this page. The base is the rechargeable part with the screen. That is the complete RAZ VUE kit.
What you do not get: a second pod, a USB-C cable, or a wall brick. RAZ does not include a charger with any of its devices, and the VUE follows that pattern. You will charge the base with a cable you already own and a normal 5V block. Most customers order at least one replacement pod along with the kit so they are not caught waiting when the first pod runs dry. The RAZ VUE pods page lists every replacement flavor with live stock, and the replacement menu is wider than the kit menu.
The kit flavor you choose determines only the pod that ships in the box. The base is the same regardless of flavor. If you order a Watermelon Ice kit and a Miami Mint replacement pod, you will have one base and two pods, and you can swap between them whenever you like.
How the base and pod system works
The VUE is the first RAZ that separates the battery from the liquid. Every other RAZ, from the TN9000 up to the RX 50K, seals the two together and asks you to throw the whole thing away when the tank empties. The VUE keeps the battery.
Seating a pod
The pod attaches to the top of the base with magnets. It is keyed, so it only goes on one way; if it will not seat, rotate it rather than pushing harder. Press it down until it clicks. The screen in the base registers the new pod within a second and the liquid readout updates to match. There is no pairing, no button to press and no waiting.
Reading the screen
The screen shows battery and liquid, the same two gauges as every screened RAZ. The difference is that on the VUE the two gauges belong to different parts. The battery reading belongs to the base and carries over no matter which pod is on it. The liquid reading belongs to whichever pod is seated and resets when you swap. Pull off a half-empty pod, snap on a full one, and the liquid bar jumps to full while the battery stays where it was.
Hot-swapping
You do not have to finish a pod before changing it. Pods hot-swap. Take off the mint pod, put on the fruit pod, and go back later. A half-used pod can sit upright in a drawer until you want it again. Keep it upright and away from heat, the same advice as any RAZ. That freedom is the whole point of the platform: one base, several flavors on rotation, nothing wasted.
Keeping the contacts clean
The base has two contacts on top where the pod sits. Over time lint and residue can collect there, and a dirty contact is the most likely reason a VUE stops firing with a full pod and a charged base. Brush the two contacts occasionally with a dry brush. No liquid, no metal tools. If the screen does not register a pod, reseat it first, then clean the contacts, then try a different pod. Our RAZ vape not working page has the full checklist in order.
Turning it on and off
The VUE base is draw-activated. Seat the pod and take a draw. A rapid triple-press power-cycles the base if the screen ever seems stuck. For the full run-through on every RAZ model, including which ones have buttons and which do not, see our page on how to use a RAZ vape.
Is the RAZ VUE a power bank?
No, and this deserves its own section because the search for the RAZ VUE power bank is one of the most common ways people arrive at this page. The confusion is understandable. The base is a battery you keep, it is shaped like a small battery pack, and the pod sits on top of it the way a phone sits on a charging stand. It looks like it should do more than it does.
Here is what the base actually does. It holds a 900 mAh battery. It powers the pod when you draw. It charges over USB-C. That is the complete list. It has no USB output port, so there is nothing to plug a phone into. It cannot charge another device, another base or anything else. It is a vape battery, not a power bank, and RAZ has never described it as one.
The related search for a magnetic RAZ charger comes from the same place. The pod attaches to the base magnetically, so people assume the base charges magnetically too, or that there is a magnetic dock sold separately. Neither is true. The base charges through a plain USB-C port with a plain cable. There is no magnetic charging dock in the RAZ range. The magnets are for holding the pod on, not for moving power. If any of that is still unclear, our RAZ VUE charger section walks through exactly what plugs into what.
If you came here wanting a device that can top up your phone, the VUE is not it and neither is any other RAZ. If you came here wanting a vape whose battery you keep, you are in the right place.
RAZ VUE 50K flavors: pods available in the kit
The kit ships with one pod, and these are the RAZ VUE flavors you can choose for it. Taste notes come from the name: Ice means medium cooling, and a plain fruit or candy name means no added cooling. The list reads from our live inventory. The replacement pod menu has additional flavors that are not offered as kit options, so if you do not see a favorite here, check the RAZ pod flavors list before deciding the VUE is not for you.
- Blue Raz Ice
- Hawaiian Punch
- Miami Mint (out of stock)
- Pineapple MTN Dew (out of stock)
- Polar Ice (out of stock)
- Sour Apple Ice (out of stock)
- Strawberry Blast
- Triple Berry Lime
- Watermelon Ice
- White Gummy
Several of these names will be familiar if you have used the LTX or the TN9000. Watermelon Ice, Blue Raz Ice, Miami Mint and Polar Ice appear across the RAZ range, and choosing one you already know is the easiest way to judge the VUE hardware on its own terms. For where each of these profiles shows up on other devices, the RAZ vape flavors page maps the whole catalog by device.
The VUE is 5% nicotine salt only. There is no Zero Nicotine VUE pod. If 0% is a requirement, the platforms that have it are the TN9000 and the LTX 25K, and our RAZ zero nicotine page lists every 0% SKU we carry.
Charging the VUE base
Only the base charges. The pod has no battery, no port and no way to take a charge, so the question of how to charge a RAZ pod without the battery has one answer: you cannot. The pod needs the base. If the base is lost or broken, RAZ does not sell it separately; a replacement base means buying a new VUE kit.
Charging the base is the same as any RAZ. Plug any standard USB-C cable into the port on the base and the other end into a normal 5V block or a laptop USB port. From low to full takes about 60 to 90 minutes. The screen shows the charging percentage while it is connected. Skip fast-charge bricks; they add heat and no speed. If the screen stays dark when you plug in, swap the cable first. A base that has sat fully drained may need 15 to 30 minutes on the cable before the screen wakes.
You can charge the base with a pod on it or with the pod removed. It makes no difference to the charge. Many customers charge the bare base overnight and keep the pods in a drawer, which also keeps the contacts clean.
Because you keep the base, its battery will go through far more charge cycles than a disposable's ever does. Treat it well: room temperature, no hot cars, no fast-charge bricks, and do not leave it dead for weeks. Those habits are what decide how many pods a single base gets through.
VUE 50K vs RX 50K: how the running cost works
RAZ has two devices rated at 50,000 puffs, and they represent two different ways to pay for vaping. The RAZ RX 50K is a sealed disposable. You pay once, use it up, throw it away, buy another. Every purchase includes a fresh 1000 mAh battery, a 20 mL plus tank, three power modes and a lock. The VUE 50K is a base you buy once plus pods you buy repeatedly. Every pod purchase includes 13 mL of liquid and a coil, but no battery, because you already own one.
We will not put numbers on this beyond what the live prices at the top of each page tell you, but the logic is simple. A replacement pod costs less than a kit because it has no battery in it. Over the first purchase, the VUE kit is a little more than an RX because you are buying the base. Over every purchase after that, you are buying pods, and a pod is less than either a kit or an RX. The longer a single base lasts you, the more that difference adds up in the VUE's favor. If you tend to lose devices or you want the modes and the lock, the RX makes more sense. If you keep your gear and want to rotate flavors, the VUE does. For the live side-by-side across all six RAZ products, the RAZ vape price page pulls the same numbers this page does.
What you give up with the VUE compared with the RX: power modes, the lock, a larger single tank and the cooling-tagged flavor families. What you gain: a battery you keep, flavor rotation without waste, and the smallest ongoing purchase in the RAZ range.
Against the rest of the lineup, the VUE is not really competing with the RAZ LTX 25K or the RAZ TN9000; those are sealed devices in smaller sizes with wider flavor menus and 0% options. The VUE competes with the idea of throwing away batteries. It is also the only swappable-pod 50K system between RAZ and its most-compared rival, a point our Geek Bar vs RAZ page makes when it lines the two brands up by device class.
Why the VUE is called the new RAZ vape
When people search for the new RAZ vape, they almost always mean the VUE. It is the most recent platform RAZ has released and the first that breaks the sealed-disposable pattern the brand built its name on. If you have used a TN9000 or an LTX and want to know what has changed, the VUE is the answer.
What is new is the format, not the fundamentals. The draw is still draw-activated. The nicotine is still 5% salt. The screen still shows battery and liquid. The flavors overlap heavily with the rest of the range. What changed is that the battery now lives in a part you keep and the liquid lives in a part you replace. That one change alters how you shop, how you charge and how you rotate flavors, which is why the VUE gets its own section of our catalog rather than a line on the LTX page.
It is still a RAZ, which means the same authentication applies. Every VUE kit box has a scratch-off code inside the flap that you can check on the manufacturer's verification page, which we do not run. Our page on how to verify a RAZ vape covers what a valid first-time check looks like and what correct packaging looks like across the range.
Ordering the RAZ VUE 50K kit from us
RAZ Vape Bar is a US retailer. We are not the manufacturer. Kits ship from our own tracked warehouse inventory, and the stock buttons at the top of this page are synced from that inventory. If a kit flavor is greyed out, we do not have that pod in a kit today; check the replacement pod page, which often has it.
Orders ship within 1 business day. Adults 21 and over only, age verification at checkout, and an adult signature may be required at delivery. Card payment at a single-page checkout. Unopened or defective returns per our Return Policy. We do not ship flavored vapor products to NY, MA, UT, NJ or to localities that restrict them.
The price at the top is the live kit price and it is the same for every kit flavor. Replacement pods have their own live price on their own page. If you have been looking for the VUE at local counters, expect to find it rarely; it is the newest RAZ and most stores have not picked it up, and even fewer stock replacement pods. Our RAZ pods near me page covers why the counter is a poor place to find pod-based gear and why ordering is the reliable route for a base plus a rotation of pods.
The six FAQs below handle the questions we get most about the VUE. For anything else, the common RAZ questions page or support@razvapebar.com with your order number.
RAZ VUE 50K Kit FAQ
What comes in the RAZ VUE 50K kit?
One rechargeable 900 mAh base and one pre-filled 13 mL magnetic pod in the flavor you pick. That is the complete kit. There is no spare pod and no wall brick or cable in the box. You charge the base over USB-C with a cable you already own, and you buy replacement pods separately when the first one runs out.
Is the RAZ VUE a power bank?
No. The base has a battery to run the pod, but it has no USB output and cannot charge a phone or anything else. People search for the RAZ VUE power bank because the base looks like a small battery pack and because it is the part you keep. It charges in over USB-C; nothing charges out of it.
How many puffs is the RAZ VUE 50K?
Each pod is rated at 50,000 puffs from its 13 mL of liquid. The rating belongs to the pod, not the base. When a pod is empty you snap on a new one and the count starts over; the base carries on as long as its battery holds up.
Can I use a RAZ VUE pod without the base?
No. The pod has no battery of its own. It only works seated on the VUE base, and it only fits the VUE base. There is no way to charge or fire a pod on its own. If you lose or break the base, the only replacement RAZ sells is a new VUE kit.
Can I swap pods before one is finished?
Yes. Pods hot-swap. Pull one off, snap another on, and the screen registers the new pod within a second. A half-used pod can sit upright in a drawer until you want it back. The liquid readout on the screen resets to match whichever pod is seated, while the battery reading carries over.
How long does the RAZ VUE base take to charge?
About 60 to 90 minutes from low to full over USB-C on a normal 5V block. The pod has no battery, so the pod is never charged; only the base is. If the screen stays dark when you plug in, try another cable first and give a drained base 15 to 30 minutes before deciding it is faulty.
